These guide rods allow the stones to travel a greater distance from the sharpener's base without losing stability, making them ideal for sharpening long blades. With these guide rods, you can achieve a maximum sharpening length of 20 inches.
These guide rods are compatible with all Wicked Edge models, except for the pre-2017 WE100 and pre-2017 Pro-Pack 1. They provide enhanced stability and prevent wobbling as the stones approach the end of the stroke. If your Wicked Edge sharpener features ball-joints, these guide rods are fully compatible.
